A couple of excerpts from the Daily Reckoning:

……………………..
But nobody understands
the Fed role in this [except us, dear reader], so the cries
go out to punish the competition with tariffs.
Protectionism is a predictable consequence of paper-money
inflation, just as is the impoverishment of an entire
middle class… ”

………………………

Employment is down 113,000 since
June. Unemployment is down 453,000. That means 340,000 of
those formerly classified as unemployed have now dropped
out of the labor force. Part-time employment is down
200,000 in the month of August. Thus, the ‘lower’
unemployment rate does not reflect any real growth in jobs,
but statistical games.

2 Good

I can’t believe it — I found two absolutely terrific ebooks, both in the same day. And I’ve gone weeks reading only ’stinkers’.

The free one — Answer To Money, Time, and Traffic, by Carlos Garcia - publisher of Wealthy Secrets Newsletter, is better than many ‘internet marketing’ ebooks I’ve paid for. It’s not only a net marketing ebook - it’s more of a success ebook with concrete steps that actually can be followed and used for internet any kind of marketing.

ClickBank Box - Part 2 - ready, set, going…

This is the automated, customized with your ClickBank nickname version.
Way cool — I’ve managed to automate everything, so this baby should
run itself with a minimum of ‘manual’ intervention (I mean the sign-up and
generating the custom klip part — ClickBank Box already works automatically).

Error Ranking

Posted: August 30th, 2003

How’s this for ‘ranking’ — a number 10 on Google, and it’s a script parse error
‘unexpected $ in xxxxx on line 50′. I guess if it was the real page, it would have been at the top.

Old School

Posted: August 28th, 2003

For the first time since I’ve had kids (23 years) I know what it’s like to not be able to give them at least the basics of what they need.

This is the first going back to school that they’ve had to reuse old school supplies, got no new clothes (I’m, talking underwear and socks, not to mention the cool stuff), and the high schoolers have to take their lunch — no ‘hot’ lunch for them.
