McDonalds is expanding it’s wireless hotspot restaurants - now NY nad San Fran, soon to come Chi-town…I guess if they’re already getting sued for making people obese, they might as well keep ‘em sitting even longer…

Wow, took a lot longer than I thought it would, but I learned a lot.

Windows Movie Maker is tons o’ fun — the transitions and effects are great — but the
file sizes are humongous…

First Video

Posted: July 19th, 2003

I’m right now getting ready to do my first ‘video’ — ok,
so actually it’s a video capture of my computer screen,
complete with annotations and audio. I have the annotations done, what
I want to say and do ready.

Printem

My biggest peeve with ebooks - printing out the ones I want to ‘keep’.
It really chews up the ink — cheap cartidges
helps, but maybe I need a
different printer? Laser (pricey), Kinkos or Office Max (their CopyMax file submission does
print jobs but cost ?). And, the whole idea is to try for paperless — but

three times every day — asking if Tony can play.

his friend keeps asking, and asking, and - guess what - sooner or later

Retained, FMP, and FMP with extension…which
means that you can stay on for 3 more months to
do training for your job (on 2nd and 3rd shifts
because you will be training Chinese).”

Up Again

7/3 - the unemployment rate jumped again today — has the experts questioning the supposed recovery. My take — there may be a recovery for U.S. corporations, but that doesn’t mean jobs (at least not U.S. jobs) — India and China may benefit from increasing jobs resulting from a U.S. recovery, but…

First

From this day forward, I am starting a new life.

I have broken free from the corporate bonds that have captured my life for the last 20 years. I never meant it to be this way - I was a hippie - but then I graduated from school, got a job that paid what seemed like lots of money, had kids, started to feel I needed the money and even more money — to buy the stuff that other corporations wanted me to buy - using money I didn’t have that even other corporations wanted to give me more and more of so I could buy more and more and more stuff that I really didn’t need and probably didn’t really want — well I’m done - I’m thru - no more ‘more’ for me.
