Video Creation and Editing Software

• Windows Movie Maker
  Much as I hate to do it -- I have to say I like this app from Microsoft. It came with Windows XP, and it is easy to use, and that's saying a lot -- since I know aboslutely nothing about editing video (at least I didn't until I tried doing it with this).



• CamStudio
  If you need to create a software demo, or record screen what's happening on your computer screen for any reason, this is a good option. Let's you do audio via your microphone, add callouts, and walks you through the process very nicely. Not the fanciest software out there, but it does the job. Also, lets you save to flash format.



• Wink
  Another nifty tool mainly for software demos or tutorials. Let's you import screenshots you already have, does callouts etc. like CamStudio. No audio, but does save to flash format too.
